What Makes PRB-01 a Premium Booster?

For PRB-01, the Premium Booster format centers on selected returning cards, new artwork, parallel versions, a newly introduced Leader, and a large DON!! assortment. Its 10-card packs are also larger than standard six-card Japanese booster packs.

“Premium” describes this product format; it does not guarantee a particular rarity, parallel card, or financial value in every pack. Guarantees associated with later premium boosters should not be applied to PRB-01.

Selected Reprints from Earlier Products

PRB-01 draws from several early ONE PIECE CARD GAME releases rather than reproducing any one expansion in full. The official list includes selected cards originally numbered for OP-01 through OP-06, starter decks, and P-numbered promotional releases.

Examples include Izo, Brannew, Borsalino, Ice Age, Baby 5, Sabo, and Guard Point. The four Promotion Cards are Koby, Bartolomeo, Nami, and Monkey D. Luffy.

Reprinted cards generally retain their original card numbers. Their appearance in PRB-01 does not mean that the product contains original sealed packs or every card from the first six booster expansions.

Sanji PRB01-001 Leader Card

Sanji PRB01-001 is the new Leader introduced in PRB-01. It is a red Straw Hat Crew Leader whose once-per-turn effect can grant Rush to an eligible Character without an On Play effect.

The official breakdown lists one Leader card type, but booster contents are randomized. A standard Sanji Leader, parallel version, or particular treatment is not guaranteed in every box.

Parallel Artwork and Collectible Treatments

The official guide confirms that selected returning cards receive parallel versions with new illustrations. These treatments present familiar card identities with different artwork while retaining their underlying card numbers and gameplay roles.

Printed rarity, original card identity, and parallel artwork are separate characteristics. A newly illustrated card should not automatically be called a Secret Rare, super-parallel card, manga card, or limited edition.

Thirty DON!! Card Designs

PRB-01 includes 30 new illustrated DON!! card designs, with gold-effect DON!! cards also appearing.

DON!! cards are resource cards rather than Character cards. The official total therefore lists 111 card types plus 30 DON!! designs. A particular DON!! design or gold-effect version is not stated as guaranteed in each box.

Official Card-Type and Rarity Breakdown

The official Japanese product page lists:

  • Leader Card: 1

  • Common: 23

  • Uncommon: 25

  • Promotion Card: 4

  • Rare: 21

  • Super Rare: 29

  • Secret Rare: 8

  • DON!! Card: 30

The seven non-DON!! categories total 111 card types. Parallel artwork and visual variants should not be added to that figure unless the official checklist counts them as separate types.

This corrects the original article’s 109+30 total and its incorrect count of 27 Super Rare cards.

Japanese Pack and Booster-Box Configuration

Each Japanese PRB-01 pack contains 10 randomized cards. The PokeUnlimited booster box contains 10 packs, producing 100 physical cards.

The 100-card total does not mean 100 different cards. Duplicates may occur, and one box does not guarantee a complete set, Sanji, a Secret Rare, a particular parallel card, a super-parallel treatment, or a specific DON!! design.
