The First Korean One Piece Card Game Booster

Romance Dawn OPK-01 introduced the game’s first Korean-language booster card pool. Korean starter decks and other introductory products were part of the regional launch, but OPK-01 was the first Korean booster expansion.

The release uses Korean-language cards, Korean packaging, its own release date, and the OPK-01 sealed-product code. It is an official regional Bandai release rather than Japanese inventory or an English reprint.

OPK-01 vs. OP-01

OPK-01 identifies the Korean sealed booster product. OP-01 identifies the original Romance Dawn expansion in other regional product lines, while numbers such as OP01-001 and OP01-120 identify individual cards.

The Korean release follows the established Romance Dawn card pool, but regional products may differ in language, packaging, release date, promotional support, printing, and collation. Another region’s box topper or pull information should not be applied to OPK-01 without Korean-specific confirmation.

The Eight Leader Cards

Romance Dawn includes eight Leader card types:

  • Roronoa Zoro — OP01-001

  • Trafalgar Law — OP01-002

  • Monkey D. Luffy — OP01-003

  • Kouzuki Oden — OP01-031

  • Donquixote Doflamingo — OP01-060

  • Kaido — OP01-061

  • Crocodile — OP01-062

  • King — OP01-091

These Leaders represent red, green, blue, purple, and multicolor strategies. One booster box does not guarantee every Leader or a particular parallel Leader.

Major Card Groups and Deck Themes

Red cards emphasize Straw Hat Crew and Supernovas strategies, with Roronoa Zoro and Monkey D. Luffy supporting offensive play. Nami OP01-016 is a Rare Character, while Roronoa Zoro OP01-025 is a Super Rare Character with Rush.

Green cards cover Supernovas, Heart Pirates, and Land of Wano. Trafalgar Law combines red and green cards, while Kouzuki Oden supports Land of Wano and DON!! management. Trafalgar Law OP01-047 appears as a Super Rare Character.

Blue strategies feature The Seven Warlords of the Sea and Baroque Works. Donquixote Doflamingo supports Seven Warlords cards, while Crocodile leads Event-focused Baroque Works play.

Purple cards center on the Animal Kingdom Pirates and DON!! resource management. Kaido and King lead these themes, with Kaido OP01-094 appearing as a Super Rare Character.

Shanks, Yamato, and Parallel Cards

The two Secret Rare card types are Shanks OP01-120 and Yamato OP01-121. Their standard cards and parallel versions are separate visual treatments of the same underlying card identities.

The official Korean product information confirms 27 parallel versions across the set. A parallel may use different artwork, backgrounds, or finishes, but it is not automatically a Secret Rare, Super Rare, or “manga” card.

Specific Leaders, Characters, Secret Rares, and parallel treatments are randomized and not guaranteed.

Official Rarity Breakdown

The Korean product lists:

  • Leader Card: 8

  • Common: 45

  • Uncommon: 30

  • Rare: 26

  • Super Rare: 10

  • Secret Rare: 2

These categories total 121 card types. The 27 parallel versions are alternate versions within that card pool, not 27 additional base cards.

Card type and rarity are different concepts. Leader, Character, Event, and Stage describe how a card functions, while Common, Rare, Super Rare, and Secret Rare describe printed rarity categories.

Korean Booster-Pack and Box Configuration

Each Korean OPK-01 booster pack contains six randomized cards. A booster box contains 24 packs, producing 144 physical cards.

The 144-card total does not mean 144 different cards. Duplicate cards may occur, and one box does not guarantee a complete set, every Leader, a Secret Rare, a parallel version, Shanks, or Yamato.

The official Korean product page does not list a box topper or bundled promotional card. Current case-ordering options belong on the PokeUnlimited product page rather than in this evergreen guide.

Korean vs. Japanese and English Romance Dawn

Korean OPK-01, Japanese OP-01, and English Romance Dawn are separate regional sealed products. They share the Romance Dawn card foundation, but their languages, release dates, packaging, campaigns, and sealed configurations should be checked independently.

The Korean product uses Korean-language cards, six-card packs, and 24 packs per booster box. English specifications and Japanese bonus-card information should not be treated as Korean product guarantees.

Where to View the Card List and Booster Box

Use the official Korean Romance Dawn OPK-01 product guide for Korean sealed-product specifications. The official Korean card search is the primary destination for Korean set membership, while the official English-language Romance Dawn card list provides established English card names and classifications.
