A Closer Look at the Pokémon: Dream Painting 30th Celebration Pikachu Figurine Blind Box

The Pokémon: Dream Painting 30th Celebration Pikachu Figurine Blind Box takes Pikachu artwork from the Simplified Chinese 30th Celebration set and turns it into sculpted figures. Released by The Pokémon Company on September 16, 2026, it is the latest entry in the Dream Painting series, and every sealed box pairs one figure with the foil card that inspired it, plus a 30th Celebration booster pack.

Where the designs come from

The Simplified Chinese 30th Celebration set includes 30 special Pikachu illustrations. Thirteen of them were chosen for this figure line, and each has been sculpted as a standalone Pikachu figure based on the Pikachu in the original card art.

Those illustrations come from several different artists, so the thirteen designs don’t share one house style. Each figure carries the look of the card it was based on, which is what gives the lineup its range from one design to the next.

What comes in each box

Every blind box is factory sealed and contains:

• One Pikachu figure, 1 of 13 designs (12 regular plus 1 secret chase), picked at random
• One Pokémon foil card that matches the figure
• One 30th Celebration booster pack with 6 cards

The design is random, so you won’t know which figure you have until the box is open.

The figure and its card

The foil card in each box is the card that figure was based on. That means every box gives you the sculpt and its source artwork together, rather than a figure on its own. For anyone working toward the full set, completing the figures also completes a matching run of foil cards.

The secret chase figure

The thirteenth design is the secret chase. It is produced at a ratio of 143:1, so it turns up in roughly one of every 143 boxes, and it comes with a Mitsuhiro Arita foil card.

Arita has been illustrating for the Pokémon Trading Card Game since the original Base Set, where his work includes the Base Set Charizard. Having his card paired with the rarest figure in the line gives the secret a clear link back to the game’s earliest artwork.

The 30th Celebration booster pack

Each box also includes a 6 card 30th Celebration booster pack, and RGB Mew is the chase card in that pack. It is an extra reason to open the box beyond the figure, since the pack is opened separately and pulled independently of which Pikachu you get.

How it fits the Dream Painting series

Dream Painting, known as 绘梦点睛 in Chinese, is a collector line of figures built from Pokémon Trading Card Game artwork. The earlier release in the series, the Pokémon: Dream Collection 151 Figure Blind Box, applied the same idea to Pokémon from the original 151. This release narrows the focus to Pikachu and ties the whole lineup to the 30th anniversary.

Collecting the full set

With twelve regular designs and one secret, a complete set means opening boxes until all thirteen turn up, or trading for the ones you are missing. The twelve regular figures are the realistic goal for most collectors. At 143:1, the secret is the hardest piece in the set to land.
