OPK-01 Booster Pack – Romance Dawn
Romance Dawn was therefore the first Korean booster expansion, not the first Korean ONE PIECE CARD GAME product. Four starter decks had already launched before its release.
STK-01 Straw Hat Crew and STK-02 Worst Generation
STK-01 Straw Hat Crew is a red starter deck led by Monkey D. Luffy. Its core theme uses direct offensive pressure and Character cards with Rush effects.
STK-02 Worst Generation is a green starter deck led by Eustass “Captain” Kid. It balances offense and defense through effects involving rested cards, reactivation, and DON!! management.
Both products launched on March 22 and introduced fixed Korean-language deck lists rather than randomized booster contents.
STK-03 and STK-04 Follow in April
STK-03 The Seven Warlords of the Sea launched on April 11. The blue deck is led by Crocodile and emphasizes Blockers, hand management, and board-control effects.
STK-04 Animal Kingdom Pirates launched the same day. The purple deck is led by Kaido and uses DON!! acceleration and reduction to reach powerful high-cost Characters and effects.
These four starter decks established the first red, green, blue, and purple deck identities for the Korean product line.
What the Initial Korean Starter Decks Included
The official Korean pages for STK-01 through STK-04 list:
-
1 constructed deck containing 51 cards
-
17 listed deck-card types
-
10 DON!! cards
-
1 play sheet
-
2 promotional cards
Their rarity breakdown lists one Leader Card type, two Super Rare types, 14 Common types, and one Promotion Card type.
Because the pages list two physical promotional cards but only one promotional-card type, the two cards should not be described as two different designs without further official confirmation.
A starter deck uses a predetermined card list. Multiple copies of some cards are included intentionally to create a playable 51-card deck and are not random duplicates.
What STK and ST Product Codes Mean
STK identifies the Korean sealed starter-deck product. ST identifies the corresponding original starter-deck series used in other regional product names and individual card numbers.
For example, STK-01 is the Korean Straw Hat Crew sealed product, while its cards retain numbers based on the ST01 card series. Individual cards should not be renamed with invented numbers such as STK01-001.
The Korean decks follow established starter-deck themes while remaining separate regional releases with Korean-language cards, packaging, release dates, accessories, and promotional components.
Romance Dawn OPK-01: The First Korean Booster Expansion
Romance Dawn OPK-01 was released on April 25, 2024 as the first Korean-language booster expansion.
Each Korean booster pack contains six randomized cards. A booster box contains 24 packs, producing 144 physical cards. That does not mean 144 different cards: duplicates may occur, and one box does not guarantee a complete set, a particular Leader, a Secret Rare, or a parallel version.
The official Korean product lists 121 card types:
-
Leader Card: 8
-
Common: 45
-
Uncommon: 30
-
Rare: 26
-
Super Rare: 10
-
Secret Rare: 2
Romance Dawn also includes 27 parallel versions. Those parallels are alternate visual versions within the established card pool, not 27 additional base card identities.
OPK-01 vs. OP-01 and OP01 Card Numbers
OPK-01 identifies the Korean sealed Romance Dawn booster product.
OP-01 is the original Romance Dawn expansion identifier used for sealed products in other regions.
Individual cards retain the OP01-### numbering format. The Korean release should not be treated as a sequel, second edition, or unrelated expansion simply because its sealed-product code includes the letter K.
Starter Decks vs. Randomized Booster Products
Starter decks contain fixed constructed lists built around a Leader and supporting strategy. They include intentional multiples of cards and the DON!! cards needed to begin playing.
Booster packs contain randomized cards that can expand a collection or provide additional deck-building options. Specific cards and rarities are not guaranteed, and a booster box does not complete the set.
A booster box is not required to open or use a starter deck, and not every Romance Dawn card directly supports every starter-deck strategy.
How the Korean Products Differed by Region
The Korean launch used established starter-deck and Romance Dawn identities, but the products were not identical copies of Japanese, English, or earlier Asia-region releases.
Regional differences included:
-
Korean sealed-product codes
-
Korean-language cards
-
Korean packaging
-
Korean release dates
-
Korean promotional-card inclusions
-
Korean play-sheet contents
-
Regional pricing, distribution, and event support
For example, the Korean STK-01 through STK-04 pages list two promotional cards, while the earlier English-language Asia product page lists the constructed deck, DON!! cards, and play sheet without those Korean promotional cards.
No assumptions should be made about identical card stock, foil treatment, collation, pull rates, or physical production quality without direct evidence.
